Stephen Strasburg. If you have no clue what I’m talking about one, why the hell are you reading my blog?? And two, please get out of the hole you live in, turn on the TV, computer, radio, whatever…trust me you’ll hear someone somewhere talking about this kid. He’s the Phenom, The Great White Hope, The Golden Boy. All American as apple pie, and hey he even plays for the Washington Nationals!! How can we not all love this kid and bow down to his glorious 99 MPH fastball?

Ummmm….not me. I am not drinking the Strasburg flavored Kool Aid. Sure, the kid is good. But haven’t we had enough of the phenoms who can’t hack it? The rockets the burn an re-entry to the real world? The sad stories featured on SportCenter Sundays?? People you are all being blinded by Strasburg’s pretty white smile and smoking fastball…even knowledgable sports people are joing the cult. But not me, and here’s why…

Lets take a look at two well know phenoms-Kerry Wood and Mark Prior. Remember them? Saviors of the Cubbies, they were going to take them all the way and break that curse and get that ring. And in the process be this dominating guys who struck fear into the hearts of batters. How did that one work out? But, look at their first 5 starts in the pros (as many as Strasburg has as I am writing this)

Kerry Wood was 3-2 with a 6.00 ERA. He averaged 6.2 innings per game, along with 2.2 walks and 9 strikeouts. His total strikeouts was 45. Mark Prior-the comeback kid-was 2-1 with 2 no decisions and a 3.75 ERA in his first five starts. He averaged 6 innings, along with 2.2 walks and about 8 strikeouts. His five game total was 43.

Now here’s Mr. God’s Gift to Baseball stats: 2-2 with 1 no decision and a 2.27 ERA. He is averaging about 6.2 innings, 2 walks, and 13 strikeouts, for a total of 48.

Are we seeing the similarities folks? Strasburg is not some super hero. He has started out as well as others considered phenoms but not all that much better. If you play out his stats for the entire season, it projects to a record of 14-14 with about a 3.00 ERA and about 320 strikeouts. Not Cy Young material if you ask me. And frankly that will not get the Nats to the promised land of playoffs and championships.

Now both Wood and Prior suffered major injuries, so we have to take that into account. But if this is any indication, Strasburg does not seem like he will be the second coming of Cy Young and Nolan Ryan all in one. He is not alone going to take the Nats franchise to the next level. In fact Satrasburg could be putting himself in the line of fire for a major injury. Throwing that hard constantly with that many strikeouts can put an awful strain on the arm.

We need to stop making Strasburg this super hero idol. I know MLB is doing it to repair its image but come on! You want a feel good story there’s a few to pick from. Like RA Dickey a career no one special. Who is now 6-1 with a 2.98 ERA, 15 walks, 38 strikeouts, and leading the NY Mets to an improbable run to take charge of the NL East. Let someone like him go to the All Star Game instead of the golden boy who hasn’t even been here long enough to get his uniform cap dirty.

Hey maybe one day Strasburg will prove me wrong…until then no bandwagon jumping or kool aid drinking for me…I shall not worship at the altar of Strasburg.

Well you might be wondering why i'm saying Jerry needs to go. I mean after all, the mets have had a hell of a week. 35 plus shut out innings, a shut out sweep of the phils, taking two out of three from the yanks. And really, the mets are not in bad shape. They are second in the NL in strikeouts with 373. Second in triples and steals with 15 and 48 respectively. So why are we having this discussion? Why is fire jerry a trending topic on twitter? its simple, this team is winning in spite of him.
Jerry does not know how to manage a bullpen. Perfect example, tonight's game. Johan Santana pitched a hell of a game as usual. But jerry yanks him after 105 pitches. now i can kind of see the logic in that. The brewers were starting to get a good read on his pitches, hitting some balls very hard. So you bring in Pedro Feliciano, who is so far having a good season....2.21 ERA, 18 strikeouts in roughly 21 innings. He gets Prince Fielder, one of the best power hitters in the game, out on one pitch. So what does jerry do?? He takes out Pedro and puts in ryota igarashi, who promptly gives up a walk off home run. Igarashi just got off the DL and nearly blew the game against the yanks. Why do you make that move? Besides the stats Pedro has put up this year, this past week he has been one of the best pitchers out of the pen, regardless of whether he's facing a righty or a lefty. this game hinged on pitching, and when it came down to it, jery made the absolutely wrong decision.
And its not just the pitching. Can jerry please explain why time and time again he puts Alex Cora in the starting lineup and batting second no less? Now, i like Cora as a person. He's a good solid vet to have around the young guys on the team. But he is not and has never been a go to guy. Luis Castillo when he is healthy can hit in that number two spot...he knows how to take pitches, get on base, etc....but jerry is obsessed with letting Cora play. Here's an idea...teach ruben tejada to play second. Don't tell me you wouldn't love to see him and reyes turning double plays. But that will never happen as long as jerry is at the helm. He has his "boys" and will stick with them no matter what.
Now i know some of you are thinking well all managers do that, shoot look at the yanks and girardi and texieria...he stays in even though he struggles. But here's the deal...everyone knows Texieria starts slow, but he will put up numbers. Jerry's guys have no business starting on a team that needs to prove themselves and contend. If jerry is around when Beltran finally comes back, how much do you want to bet he starts him over pagan even though angel is having one of his best years both offensively and defensively?
the mets need to make changes...they have they young talent to build on. As Ron Darling said, itsno longer the scholarship players, its the walk ons. you need to play guys like pagan, and carter, and mejia. jerry does not understand that. he is in the mind frame of oh you're a vet making massive money? OK you play even though you're batting .182. The mets need a coach who understands how to blend young guys with vet talent. I've said it before, they need someone like Joe Madden down in Tampa. Someone who understands rome wasn't built in a day.
as for who replaces jerry, there's no clear answer. Wally Backman and Howard Johnson would be good, but I think they need more experience beore they can take over a major league club. I've heard a lot of people clamoring for Joe Torre or Lou Pinella, but at this stage of the game, neither is the right fit.
So i leave it up to the Wilpons...its your money, do you want to see it wasted again on a manager who makes him team lose rather then makes them better? the choice is yours

OK so the Mets absolutely suck right now. I mean come on, you get an inside the park home run and turn a triple play in the same game and still lose???? Ridiculous...it kind of feels like we have gone back to those bad teams of the 90s...you know Bobby Bonilla, Vince Coleman and company. However this mess can be fixed. I know you don't believe me, but look at the stats. Sure the Mets are in last place, but there record is 20-22 and they are only 6 games out. And we haven't quite hit June yet, so there is still plenty of time to make up ground. Now, they're only hitting .246 with 35 HR and 172 RBI as a team. but here's a bright spot....they have 14 triples, 63 doubles and 38 steals. So the offense is there, they just need timely hitting. And timely hitting does not mean home runs Mr. Wright.
Pitching look dones for right? 3.97 ERA ain't the greatest, nor is 191 walks already. They do however have 324 strikeouts, so all is not lost. They have talent there, its all about how the guys are used.
So its not all bad right? So why the hell do they look so bad?? Basically it comes from the  top. I know the Wilpons don't want to do it, but Omar and Jerry need to go. Omar for not making the necessary moves, and Jerry, well Jerryhas lost this team. These guys need a reality check, and as bad as it sounds, firing Jerry is the only way to do it. As far as replacements, I really don't have a front runner in mind. People have said Torre, but I don't see him with a team that needs to rebuild. They need a Madden type of coach-just take a look at what he has done with Tampa the past few years.
Now what happens after that? The Mets need pitching ASAP. Either Ollie or Maine needs to move to the pen and the other guy gets a one way ticket out of Queens. And they need to pick up starters that can eat innings. once again Jerry is overusing the pen because there are only 2 starters that can routinely go over 5 innings. Once you give the guys in the bullpen a rest and for God's sake define their roles and keep them there, you'll see how much the pen improves. And let's be honest, they deserve alot of credit this year.
Now how do the Wilpons go about getting said starters? Trade Reyes and Fernando Martinez. Now I do love me some Jose, and I'll be sad to see him go, but he makes the most sense. Teams still want him and he has a very managable contract. As for FMart, they have to let him go before more red flags show up and teams get scared off.
I know alot of you will say get rid of Wright too....but here's why not. When Wright doesn't have to be "the man" he plays way better and his numbers are higher. Haven't you noticed his slide started when guys like Delgado and Pedro left? Wright will be a good leader but he's just not ready for it yet. Get a vet or two, even if they come off the bench, and have them as mentors, a la Jose Valentin a couple of years ago. I think then, with the pressure off, Wright will put up some good numbers.
Its time to rebuild and bring youngsters in, guys like Ike Davis and Chris Carter and Jhenry Mejia. Sure we may have to suffer through a few more down years but I think it'll be worth it in the end. Just look at what Tampa has done-let a lot of young guys play together and grow up together. Throw in a couple vets and solid role playersand look-not only do they contend, they have changed the face of the AL East.
That is what the Wilpons need to do.....so for a few years the yanks have the back pages. When these changes are made watch and see how many years the Mets contend and become NY's team.
As I said its not all bad. Look even Omar made two good moves-signing Barajas and calling up Davis. there is a silver lining to this cloud Mets fan.....just keep bleeding that ora

ok by now everyone has heard of and pretty much had enough of all the tiger woods sex scandels and now ben r. getting caught with his pants down...literally. but i felt i had to add my 2 cents when i was reading some very interesting tweets from guys in live and work in that arena.
See with tiger, well the only real injured party is his wife. none of these women are saying he forced himself onto him, they were all very willing participants. and lets be honest, there are young women out their blinded by the fame and the having this mega star paying attention to them. and i get the feeling if some chick said gee tiger i'm flattered no thanks, i'm sure he just moved on to the next one.
So why do other athletes, i.e big ben feel the need to be abusive and force sex from someone when i can guarentee someone else would be willing to give it up? to me, its the macho barbarian mentality that some of these guys can not leave on the field. Look at the incidents of violence againt women, assaults etc... more then 90% of the time it involves either professional or college football players. To me it has nothing to do with their race or wherer they were raised. it has everything to do with the fact that they are trained to play a violent game and very few people in their lives bother to help them to learn how to turn that switch off. These men are never taught accountability...its a new form of boys will be boys. yeah thats fine when my five year old stepson plays a little rough on the playground, but not with a grown man who should know better.
and honestly it starts in high school and college. COme on, do you really think this is the first or second or third time ben has fone something like this??? of course not. I'll bet if you dig deep enough you will find stories from women at his college who claim the same thing. But i'll bet the money I don't have that they were "pressured" not to come forward. that they were told if they came forward and ruined his draft status he would sue them. Now if you're a 19 year old struggling to pay for school what choice would you make?? so from day one these guys do not have to face the same moral and ethical boundaries we all do in everyday life.
now on to the touchier part of this subject. i'm a firm believer of where there's smoke there's fire. There have been way too many women coming forward about big ben for them all to be lying. Now i do understand no charges have been pressed. But doesn't the NFL have these lovely conduct rules now? how many guys have been suspended by the NFL and the teams they play for because of bad conduct? yet big ben is just strollling along getting ready for the season. Meanwhile guys like Pacman Jones are still trying to clean up their reputation. Look at all the fuss about Santonio Holmes. and i could go on and on naming names. SO as an outsider to the nfl i would agree that the rules do not apply equally. that golden boy white quarterbacks are not under the same scrutiny. Now this may offend some, but hey, i'm just looking at the facts here. if the NFL and the steelers do not punish ben, mr. commish is going to have a lot of explaining to do.
So now how do we fix this. i want my kids to look up to athletes but i'm tired of explaining what rape and assault mean to a five year old. we need to teach our kids both boys and girls that there are boundaries that can't be crossed no matter who you are or how many commercials you make. and maybe, just maybe some future footballers

This weekend I went to Washington DC. And while I was there I took time out to go see the Vietnam memorial. Now for those of you who don't know, my dad is a Marine who served in Vietnam. He served 2 years in the Marine 1st Division, fighting in the rice paddies, carrying his machine gun. And when the call of "guns up" went out, up to the frontline he went. he did receive a purple heart, but thankfully he came home, unlike the hundreds of thousands who were killed or are POWs and MIAs.

Paragraph.
And what did my father come home to? A country full of people who hated him. People protesting, telling him he was wrong for serving his country. Many, Many men who served in Vietnam came home to nothing, and no one willing to help them. many were drug addicts that smoked pot and heroin to help them deal with the death and destruction they saw on a daily basis. There were no psychologists, no treatment for post traumatic stress. They were abandoned by the very people they were fighting for.
And many of them died on the streets, penniless, homeless, soaked in booze and drugs. My father was one of the lucky ones. he had a family that loved him and fully supported him, even if his country did not. And he survived even though it was and still is hard. I remember my dad taking me to see the movie "Platoon"...that was the first time I had ever seen my father cry. And even at the young age I realized my father had seen horrors that I could never comprehend. That through boot camp and training, my dad who had never raised a hand to me, had been trained to kill. And I wondered how he could through all that and still be the great father, husband and now grandfather that he is today.
So once I began to see this, at a young age I became very interested in learning about the Vietnam War and all the politics that went with...which I won't rehash hear. I wanted to learn why people hated my dad and soldiers like him so much, all because they did with their country asked, no demanded they do. Why these very same people were abandoned when they came home. And I got even angrier, especially after the first Gulf War. These men and women were welcomed home as heroes, and deservedly so. it seemed amazing to me that after 20 years, people finally got the idea that you can hate the war, but not the people fighting it. but it was a lesson learned too late for the men and women who served in Vietnam.
Even today, we put yellow ribbons and such out on support of our troops fighting overseas. but how about flying a POW?MIA flag for those lost, who may still be held captive? And asking why the government doesn't spend any resources to try to bring these soldiers back, whether alive or dead. how about instead of bailing out fat cat executives, we bail out these heroes and there families?
Picture
I brought a bracelet with the name of a manwho is still MIA. he is the same age as my dad and it makes me wonder...was he married? Does he now have kids and grandkids even? Does his family still hold out hope for him? How do they feel when they see our government refusing to do anything to find him?

My dad still doesn't talk about the war too much. As I've gotten older I've heard more stories. But when I look in his eyes I can see there is so much more that he doesn't tell. and now 40 years later he is finally being treated for PTSD, like alot of men who fought and made it through. And again he is one of the lucky ones to have made such a good life for himself, as have many others.
Picture
And there is a lesson for all of us to learn...I saw this at one of the memorials and it is very true, "freedom is not free". And we all need to keep that in mind. Hate the wars, hate the politics, but don't hate the men and women paying the price for that freedom. We must support all our troops. the ones fighting now, the ones that fought years and years ago, and the ones that never made it home.
And while you're at it, write to Congress, write to the powers that be and ask, no demand, that everything that can possibly be done is tried to bring home those POWs and MIAs.

Picture
And I'll end this by saying thank you dad. Thank you for the sacrifices you made. Thank you for teaching me to have and show pride in our soliders. Siemper Fi dad.
I also want to dedicate this to the family of Major Leonard Robertson, USMC of North Port, NY...who went MIA on May 7th 1972...may he be found and brought home to his family.

OK sonow that tiger has finally come out of his hole and make what he's calling an apology, I felt the need to say a little something about cheating and apologies. This is especially after some talking head said tiger can be like Kobi Bryant...make amends play brillantly and all will be forgiven...ummmm that would be wrong wrong wrong!
See he's the differences. One, Kobi made his apology with his wife by his side (ok while sporting a HUGE rock). Elin was no where to be found. Shoot she was probably in a meeting with a very high priced attorney. Secondly, kobi actually looked sorry. He spoke without the aid of a pre written speech, and even managed a tear here and there. Tiger, I think your wax double at madame toussad's showed more emotion!!!
Then Tiger did avery big no no....while apologizing DO NOT blame the press!!! See had you not been a male slut and banged all these women, the press would have absolutely no interest in your wife and kids. They would have no interest in the your wife had she not chased your ass out the house with a golf club ready to show you where you could stick your driver!! Lets face it...the public will probably forgive you at some point, happens with all the big names who think celebrity equals the right to abuse and disregard your marriage vows. But dudes not for nothing, have you realized how crazy these chicks are?? Look at poor Steve McNair. If you keep your stuff in your pants you have no problems.
Personally, i think men and women who cheat are scumbags. When you got the goods at home, why in the hell are you running around looking for something "better"? And please don't give me this BS about being addicted to sex....that is such a cop out. We need to respect the bonds of marriage...whether gay straight or anything in between. So fellas instead of bragging about all the broads you bang....hang on to the woman that treats you like a king and don't be afraid to show it. A better man is the one that loves one woman with all his heart...not one that loves a bunch of women with no heart
And ladies the same for you...don't jump from man to man looking for a payday. Find that good one and build together. Now if ya'll will excuse me I'm going to spend time with the one man in my life

yes i know it has been too long!! but the writer's block has been severe. So i decided to just go with an easy topic for me to talk about...baseball. And more specifically Mets baseball.
Now a big deal is being made about the moves made so far this off season by my boys in queens. The yanks made a bit of a splash by trading for curtis granderson. The phils are about to get Halladay. And the mets...eh, not much doing besides offers to Bengie Molina and Jason Bay. And there's alot of people upset about this. Personally, I think there are moves the Mets can make that will improve on the disaster that was this past season. And without breaking the bank or giving up a ton of prospect.
First off Jason Bay will be a great addition. He plays very good defense, and is a gap hitter. In case you hadn't noticed Citifield (hence forth called the new shea) has some huge gaps. And he puts up good numbers...29 doubles, 30 some odd homers, 119 RBI. I think getting him in a lineup with Wright, Beltran, Francour, and Reyes will do wonders for the run production. Then look at Molina....solid .270 hitter and a great defensive catcher. Now at 34 his age is a concern. But for a year or two til Thole is ready? not too shabby. Add Delgado for a year to be an elder statesman of sorts. My only deduction on would make? Find some sucker to take on castillo's idiotic contract and get an orlando hudson type player. Now unfortunately omar has not found that sucker yet. So here's my take on the mets lineup including both molina and bay:
1) Jose Reyes SS
2)Jeff Francour RF
3)Carlos Beltran CF
4)Jason Bay LF
5)David Wright 3B
6)Bengie Molina C/Carlos Delgado 1B
7)Daniel Murphy 1B/Bengie Molina C
8)Luis Castillo 2B
And remember you have Angel Pagan, possibly Fernando Martinez and Santos all coming off the bench, all good players.
Now the pitching...oy vey!! Well there's Johan, always a good sign. Now alot is going to depend on the health of john maine. if he can be healthy, he's becoming a solid pitcher. then there is Mke Pelfrey who has improved. now unfortunately his record doesn't show it at 10-12, but he pitched 184 innings, more then any starter. Now i think it is time for the ollie perez experiment to end. when he's on he's lights out, but more often then not he's not on, and you can't risk not knowing what you're going to get every 5th game. So what do we now that Lackey and Halladay are off the market? of the "second tier" starters i say get Pinero and Marquis. Pinero was 15-12and pitched 214 innings to go with a 3.40 ERA. Marquis put up similar numbers...15-13, ERA around 4, 216 innings. and these guys have done this their entire careers. Marquis is only 30, as is Pinero. So why not give these guys a 3 or 4 year deal?Neither has had major injury issues that has caused them to miss significant time.
Now the pen is a bit trickier...its a bit dry in the reliever market. Personally I think at age what, 36 Fernando Rodney is not a smart move as a set up guy for K-Rod. The main problem with the pen has been guys have not been given solid roles...as in ok you pitch the 6th, you pitch, your my lefty guy, you're the setup guy. When these roles have been defined, the pen has done extremely well, as it did in the first 3 months of last season before the injuries decimated the entire team.
as for the current crop besides k-rod, i say you have to keep Feliciano and Bobby Parnell, who at 24 has great upside as a 6th/7th inning guy. other then that, unfortunately fellow mets fans i am at a loss!
So the Mets are fixable. I think the most important thing besides these moves....getting a new medical staff. Before they were absolutely killed with injuries they were 30-20 and in first place. There is no way they should have had minor injuries become such major issues. So you spend money on all these players, spend it on some new team docs and trainers!! I think the Mets will contend. They may not win the East but they will definitely be in that wild card race and have a good chance at taking it. So if a

ok so instead of complaining today I'm going to talk about the one thing everyone in this world searches for, is the hardest thing to find and keep, and can cause just as much pain as pleasure...yes dear readers its love, amor, all that good stuff.
See i think I'm lucky. No I know I'm lucky...I got a second bite at the apple. You see, me and my high school sweetheart parted ways way back when. But for some reason i never forgot about him. And as fate would have it, he came back into my life a few years. Now let me just say this...we both had some major baggage. He was coming out of a bad marriage, getting divorced, and has two kids. I was the serial dater who swore up and down she would never find love, I gave it and resigned myself to life as a lonely old maid with only my pets to keep me company...depressing right?
But we moved on, slowly but surely...well if I had it my way it wouldn't have been as slow! But as time went on, he realized he could trust someone with his heart again. And I realized that someone could love me, with all my ups and downs and craziness. And along the way I realized this was THE person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. So, we got engaged on June 23rd of this year.
Now by no means do we have a storybook romance...its a real life romance. We still fight and argue, and we still have things to learn about each other even after almost two years. And I think we'll still be learning things about each when we're old and gray. But this is why our love works...we try to make it work. Yes we fight, but we never get nasty. And while it may be old school, we don't go to bed mad or with unresolved issues. We've both shed our tears, but in the end we love each other so much that we will make changes and do what we can to make the other happy. and that dear readers is love...no the fairy tales little girls heard, or those mushy lifetime movies for that matter. love is the good and the bad...the feeling so nice and warm snuggling together AND the feeling of wanting to smack him upside the head!
So why do i share this?? I want people who may have not found that special someone to have hope...love is out there my dear friends...its not gonna happen like some romantic see that person across the room and you just know....it may just be that guy that smiles at you everyday when you pass on your way to work, or the girl you think will never give you the time of day. give it a try dear friends, and when you do find it hang on for dear life!! ok....now my mushiness is over, next time back to our regularl

OK yes dear readers its been awhile. but between recovering from vacation, dealing with a family crisis and yes, actually getting a job!! I didn't get a chance to sit and get to work on here. But tonight alas, I have something to blog about...men and how god damn annoying they can be!!
You know men always complain " I don't understand women, you never say what you mean, blah blah blah"...but you guys are worse!! You say you want to feel wanted and needed, good for the male ego and such. So how come when we say I want you, I need you, there are a bunch of reasons why you can't be there...then god forbid we say we don't need you at the moment...you run and pout like a little boy who was told he can't get the GI Joe with the kung fu grip!!
Then of course there's the complaint that women never say what they mean...here's why fellas...when we do spell it out for you, you still don't get it. Its kinda like being on the phone with customer service, getting a dude in India who barely speaks english and trying to get your issue resolved...it ain't happening and at some point you're going to throw your phone out the window in frustration. That gentlemen is how it feels when we try to explain our thoughts and feelings and you "don't get it". So of course to avoid getting downright annoyed, we don't say anything. You call it mysterious and confusing...we call it anger management.
Now I'm not gonna leave you guys hanging, I'm going to give you a few tips to avoid emotional meltdowns, pouting, and the word "fine" when talking with your honey. FIrst off if she says she needs you, even if you think its ridiculous, BE THERE!! phone calls and texts do not count for this...when we're feeling low, even irrationally so, we need hugs and kisses. Period, end of discussion. Then we may actually have some sympathy for you when you're pouting because your favorite team lost or something minor goes wrong with the car, the guy next door got better power tools then you...etc, etc...
Secondly, if you don't want to even remotely try to understand our feelings...DON'T ASK!! we would rather silence and a nice foot rub then going nutty because you just don't get it. yes, we are complex creatures, its cause of the damn hormones. If you have issues now what the hell are you gonna do when the one you love hits that lovely place in life call menopause??? cause let me tell ya fellas...it gets waaaaayyyyy worse!
So guys (especially a certain someone who knows who he is!) Just follow these simple steps. you'll be amazed at how easy life can be when you do

So I've been on this family vacation with my future hubby and his two lovely kids. And I know realize why most families take only one vacation a year. Noooo its not the money. ITS BECAUSE IT CAN FREAKIN DRIVE YOU INSANE!!! and this really goes for families who have more then one kid. Now i must say this before I go any further...my stepkids are not bad kids, meaning the kind that you want to smack even though they're not yours. but oh dear lord have i heard whining these past few days...and not the kind that goes well with cheese!!
See when you have more then one kid, you have to be more fair and unbiased then an olympic judge...if there is such a thing! Its a constant stream of well he/she got this, and why did he/she get to pick that, and why are wedoing what he/se wants to do. I could literally spend 12 hours doing one thing that kid A wants to do and 12 hours doing what kid B wants to do and I'd still hear that i'm not fair!!! Then of course you have the I'm hungry/tired/thirsty/my feet hurt constant background noise...and I'm not even counting my hubby on that one!!!
And speaking of my dear hubby, lets talk about the total lack of privacy. I think I have gotten 5 pecks on the lips in the past few days. We can not even sit next to each other without one of the kids getting in the middle. Shoot, I haven't even had time for an adult conversation. And I'm the type of gal who needs to be stimulated (getyour minds out of the gutter I mean intellectually people!!) I honestly think we have more alone time when we're home...and I know there are a ton of parents out there who feel me right now!!
Now is it all bad? No. Its been fun to see the kids react to new things and places. And my little man Brandon is an absolute trip and i'm enjoying the quality time with the kids. But man when I get home I'm all about jumping my hubby and hoping I don't hear I'm tired/hungry/thirsty/you're not fair for a very very very very long time!!!
